CDI IT Solutions is currently looking for a Mainframe Computer Operator to join our succesful team; join CDI today.
Location: Lexington, KY
Work Shift: 3rd shift
Weekend: Weekend coverage is required
Travel: Travel is not required
Duration: 1 year or longer
Seeking a Computer Operator able to operate and support complex Mainframe computer systems from both a console and batch perspective.
Applicant must be able to perform 1st and 2nd level problem determination and recovery for system hardware and software failures.
Must be familiar with and able to follow escalation process along with the capability of leading bridge calls and communicate with technical support and upper level management.
Applicant must also be familiar with or have knowledge of batch flows, scheduling tools, and ticketing tools.
Must absolutely demonstrate a positive work attitude at all times and be adaptable and flexible to the work environment.
Particularly interested in candidates with experience with IMS database manipulations and Control-M, but not required.
Special Skill Requirements:
MVS, TSO, OPS/MVS, SERVICE CENTER, (CONTROL-M is a plus.
